The Eurostars program provides support to SMEs

Eurostars is aimed at small and medium-sized innovative companies, i.e. those developing a process, a service or a product that is very different from anything they have done before.

Thanks to Eurostars, SMEs can collaborate with the most suitable research teams in the program's partner countries and strengthen their competitiveness in the fields of expertise and innovation.  All relevant subject sectors are addressed.

Today, 33 countries are Eurostars members. While the majority of them are in Europe, other countries such as Canada, South Korea or South Africa are also participating.

You can submit your application for a Eurostars project through calls, usually twice a year.

The program covers up to 50% of the costs of an innovative project. The criteria for accessing the program are wide-ranging. Most notably, the consortium applying must include at least two independent partner entities (SMEs with larger companies, universities or UAS) and the project duration must not exceed 36 months.

Calls for innovative projects are regularly published on Eureka’s website. Swiss applicants interested in the Eurostars program are advised to contact their national contact person, i.e. the Innosuisse agency
