Protection of young people and seniors

Young workers and seniors are a particularly fragile group and require special treatment within a company.

Minors, young people in training and young workers should be particularly well supported. Some jobs, along with work during certain times, are prohibited for minors. Young people are the victims of the largest number of accidents at work, occupational illness, harassment and bullying. See also:

Counting on the productivity of seniors

Keeping employees healthy is a duty for any employer. It also ensures that older employees may be relied on. Armed with the most experience, seniors are often extremely productive. To ensure that their health does not deteriorate prematurely, adjustments need to be made, notably:

  • More ergonomic workplaces
  • Reduced physical constraints
  • An appropriate workload
