Company regulations

Company regulations are mandatory for industrial companies and can also be useful in other sectors.

Company regulations are a valuable tool for providing employees with information about issues of safety at work and health protection. They take the form of an in-house written publication.

Company regulations are drawn up either unilaterally by the employer or by agreement with a workers’ delegation. They are mandatory for industrial companies.

The website of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) provides a guide to help employers draw up company regulations as well as a template. (Betriebsordnung (only in German)).
