Entrepreneurship in Switzerland: Student activity

The entrepreneurial spirit of Swiss students is still below the international average. The majority do not dream of establishing a company.

The entrepreneurial spirit of students at specialized higher education schools (HES) and Swiss universities is still below the international average. According to a survey conducted in Switzerland on 9,784 students within the framework of the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey (GUESSS), the majority of them have never seriously thought about establishing a business; their first aim is for a job in an SME or a large company after completing their studies.
