Mistakes to avoid in your business plan

Weak points in your business plan can be avoided. Consider the following criticisms frequently given by banks:

• The drafting and structure of the business plan are not directed at the reader (do not meet formal requirements, terms are incorrectly used or poorly explained)
• The business idea, the entrepreneur’s intentions and the application for financing are not clearly set out
• Essential passages are omitted (competition, marketing, finances)
• The business plan contains contradictions (confusion between hopes and reality)
• The planned profit and loss statement and planned financing do not match
• The plan does not contain multiple proposed scenarios (optimistic, realistic, poor)
