With support from the Swiss Confederation, recognised guarantee organizations help businesses secure financing more easily for start-ups, investment phases, or succession planning. As reliable partners, they provide guarantees to all Swiss banks for amounts of up to 1 million francs.

Switzerland has four credit guarantee cooperatives: three regional ones and a national cooperative specifically for women. The Confederation covers part of their administrative costs and assumes up to 65% of the risk of potential losses.

Guarantee applications must be submitted directly to the relevant cantonal organizations.
