Cantonal collective bargaining agreements

There are cantonal collective bargaining agreements which apply to all companies in a given sector.

At the request of signatory associations, the relevant authorities can extend the scope of a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) to the sector in one canton as a whole, provided certain statutory conditions are met.

For example, the canton of Geneva has a CBA for the parks, gardens, plant nursery and arboriculture sector.
